Birthday Parties

Tumblebums Play Centre and Toy Shop is the perfect place for your toddler's birthday party. We can help you with birthday presents, decorations, tableware and of course play.

Due to Food Safe regulations we are unable to serve food but you are welcome to bring your own. It is best to keep your food options simple and if you could let us know what you are bringing that would be great.
NOTE: Outside food is only allowed for birthday parties, not daily play.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure your food trays do not include toothpicks.

As we don't want to close off the play centre to other Tumblebums, Private Parties will be available SATURDAYS 4pm - 6pm and SUNDAYS 9:30am - 11:30am, 12-2pm or 2:30pm - 4:30pm. If you need another option please call us to discuss what is available.

To book a party we require a non-refundable fee of $50 (plus GST). This will hold your spot. In addition, there is a $10 charge for each child that attends the party. Minimum charge will be for 6 children. This will be due at the end of the party.

We can supply coffee for a flat fee depending on the number of adults attending.

If the party is large please ask that only one parent comes with the child that is invited. Smaller parties can accommodate both parents and one sibling. If you plan to have a large ration of adults to children (more than 2 adults per child), please let us know in advance.

Call or email us with your requests and we will get back to with available time slots. Please note that parties book well in advance, so the earlier you check availability the better we can accommodate your party.

NOTE: If you would like to bring balloons into the centre please ensure that they are foil or mylar balloons only. Latex balloons are not safe for young children.

NOTE: Please advise your guests that they will have to remove their footwear upon entering the centre. In particular, grandparents, as they often are caught off guard with this rule. If they own a clean pair of indoor shoes they are welcome to use them.

RULES:

Parents must accompany their child to the birthday party, please do not drop them off.

Parents must keep an eye on their child at all times in the centre. Energy levels are high during birthday parties and we rely on parents to ensure their child is using the equipment as it is intended to be used.

If older siblings are attending please make sure they are good role models for the younger children.

The equipment is for the children only. We know parents are children at heart but it would be great if you stay off the slides, trampoline and soft play equipment.

Please try to keep all food in the eating area. Coffees included.

One more rule -- please give out loot bags as the invited guests are leaving. We would appreciated it if the bags are not opened in the centre.
